Emetric Jobs ("we", "us", or "our") is a recruitment and hiring platform that connects employers, job seekers, panelists, and medical experts. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you access or use our platform at https://emetricjobs.com.

By creating an account or using our services, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the platform.

We collect information you provide directly to us, as well as information generated through your use of the platform.

Account information: When you register, we collect your name, email address, phone number, password, and role (job seeker, employer, panelist, or medical expert).

Profile information: Job seekers may upload a resume, profile photo, bio, preferred job categories, experience level, and skills. Employers provide organisation name, size, address, and postal code.

Application data: When you apply for a job, we collect your cover letter, resume URL, and any documents submitted during the documentation stage (such as degree certificates or identification).

Medical assessment data: Where applicable, medical experts upload assessment reports and notes for candidates who have completed a medical stage. These records are accessible only to authorised parties.

Interview data: We store scheduling information, interview slot bookings, and panelist assignments linked to specific job applications.

Communications: Messages sent through the in-app live chat, support tickets, and notifications are stored on our platform.

Technical data: We collect your IP address, browser type, device information, and usage logs to operate and improve the platform.

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your account and verify your identity
• Match job seekers with relevant job listings based on preferences and skills
• Facilitate application, screening, interview, documentation, and medical workflows between employers and candidates
• Send transactional notifications such as interview invitations, document requests, and status updates
• Enable communication between platform users through the in-app chat and notification system
• Process subscription payments and manage billing through our payment provider
• Monitor platform activity for fraud, abuse, and security purposes

We do not use your personal data for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects without human oversight.

With other platform users: Employers can see the profiles and application data of candidates who apply to their jobs. Panelists see candidate details relevant to interviews they are assigned to. Medical experts see candidate details relevant to medical assessments they are conducting.

With service providers: We share data with trusted third-party vendors who help us operate the platform, including cloud storage (Cloudinary), payment processing (Stripe), email delivery, and hosting infrastructure. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and use it only for the services they provide to us.

For legal compliance: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, court order, or government authority, or where we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Emetric Jobs, our users, or the public.

Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred to the acquiring entity. We will notify you before your data becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. Specifically:

• Account data is retained for the lifetime of your account and for up to 2 years after account deletion, for legal and audit purposes.
• Job application data, including documents and medical records, is retained for 3 years after the completion of a hiring process.
• Payment and billing records are retained for 7 years in accordance with financial regulations.
• Support tickets and communications are retained for 2 years.

You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Section 8). Certain data may be retained beyond your request where we have a legal obligation to do so.

We implement industry-standard technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, alteration, or disclosure. These include:
